Medical management refers to the non-surgical treatment of hemangiomas. This entails the use of medications such as steroids (both oral and injectable), Vincristine (a chemotherapy drug), and Propranolol (antihypertensive medication). Pediatric hematology/oncology physicians as well as our office physicians will closely monitor all patients undergoing treatment.
