- Question: Will there be pediatric anesthesiologists available at Lenox Hill?
- Answer: Yes. Dr. Waner will continue with his excellent care for his patients.
- Question: How do patients reach the office?
- Answer: The office phone number effective February 16, 2013 will be 212-434-4050. This and all other information about the office is listed on the notice.
- Question: Will the office be closed for a period of time during the transition?
- Answer: No, the office will be up and running and available to service our patients as always. Your patients, however, while we adjust to our new location is greatly appreciated as it is our goal to continue to provide outstanding care and assistance to our patients.
- Question: Where will Dr. Waner and Dr. O operate?
- Answer: At two locations: Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Institute, 210 East 64th Street, New York, NY 10065 and Lenox Hill Hospital, 100 East 77th Street, New York, NY 10075.
- Question: Is hospital housing available and what hotels are near the office/hospital?
- Answer: At the current time, we have negotiated a discounted rate at the Affinia Gardens Hotel directly across the street from the office address (please contact Sherri Foster at sfoster@wanerkids.org if you are interested in this discount). We are working to secure better guaranteed rates with this hospital and will continue to update this website with information as it becomes available. There is a list below of other hotel choices near the hospital location.
- Question: Will Dr. Waner and Dr. O continue to work with Dr. Berenstein, Dr. Blei and other members of the Vascular Birthmark Institute?
- Answer: Yes. The collaboration between these world renowned specialists is what makes our practice unique. All the members will continue their work together enabling our patients to receive the best care available.
- Question: I have more questions about changes, who do I ask?
